Our Hand Therapy Program is staffed by Occupational Therapists who have completed specialized training and are Certified Hand Therapists (CHT’s). They are experienced with the treatment of a variety of upper extremity conditions. After completing a comprehensive evaluation, a personalized treatment plan is established and implemented. Our therapists also focus on patient education, preventative management, and individualized home programs to help achieve maximum function.

Our program includes:

  • Adaptive equipment training
  • Custom splinting
  • Desensitization
  • Ergonomic, energy conservation, and joint protection education
  • Manual therapy
  • Sensory re-education
  • Therapeutic activity and exercise
  • Thermal modalities
  • Wound care

We constantly monitor your condition and progress of treatment to ensure that we are achieving the best functional outcome.

Upper extremity conditions we treat include:

  • Arthritis including energy conservation techniques
  • Bursitis
  • Carpal tunnel syndrome
  • Crush injuries
  • Fractures
  • Post-surgical rehab of finger, hand, wrist or arm
  • Tendonitis
  • Therapy after Xiaflex™ injection for Dupuytren's contracture
