ArtWalk

On a functional level, the ArtWalk is simply a passageway that connects Doylestown Hospital's new Parking Garage to the main hospital building. But in reality, it is so much more!

Visitors and patients who enter the ArtWalk are transported to a world of color, light and texture as they make their way into the building. The 308-foot long ArtWalk showcases the talents of artists from the local community, ranging from well-known painters to youngsters from Children's Village daycare and area schools.

ArtWalk visitors will delight in the variety of media, including photography, oils, pastels, pencil drawings, watercolors and the occasional quilt. The ArtWalk is well lit and has benches built-in for those who choose to rest awhile.

The works rotate every three months. Each piece includes information about the artists who have loaned their pieces to the hospital for the three-month period. The Doylestown Hospital ArtWalk gives local artists an opportunity to share their creativity with the hundreds of people who will pass through every day. It also provides a pleasant atmosphere for those who stroll its length as they make their way to or from the building.

The ArtWalk will be open daily from 5:30 am until 10 pm. People who wish to visit the ArtWalk can take the Parking Garage Elevator or the North Elevator nearest the Gift Shop to the ground level.
