After studying biology at the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia, Dr. Do obtained her Doctor of Medicine at Thomas Jefferson College of Medicine. She completed a three-year internal medicine residency at Yale and went on to finish a three-year gastroenterology fellowship at the University of Southern California. Dr. Do has published in her specialty field, including work on drug induced liver injury and cryospray ablation to palliate esophageal cancer.
Dr. Do joined Doylestown Health GI in October of 2018. Dr. Do treats disorders of the gastrointestinal tract, with a special focus on nutrition, gastroesophageal reflux disease, colorectal cancer screening, irritable bowel syndrome, and pelvic floor dysfunction. She performs several endoscopic procedures, including colonoscopy, push enteroscopy, video capsule, esophagogastroduodenoscopy, Bravo pH testing, esophageal dilations, hemorrhoidal banding and feeding tube replacement. She keeps up to date with the latest advances that may be incorporated into the care of her patients. Furthermore, she is an active member of her Doylestown Hospital Cancer Committee. She advocates for increase quality and access to colon cancer screening in the underinsured population through community outreach events.
In 2018 she received the PA Safety Authority‚ Award for her work in patient safety and quality care. She was also named by the PA Medical Society‚ Top 40 under 40 award in 2020.
Outside of work, she is active in the PA Medical Society as Vice Chair of the Women‚ Physician Section which advance policies on issues and challenges that affect women in medicine. She also sits on advisory panel for the Philadelphia Chapter of the American Society for Enteral and Paternal Nutrition (ASPEN).
Licensed by the State of Pennsylvania, Dr. Do is dual Board Certified in Internal Medicine and Gastroenterology by the American Board of Internal Medicine. She is a member of the American Gastroenterology Association and American College of Gastroenterology. She is also a license prescriber for the medical cannabis program.
When she is not caring for patients, Dr. Do enjoys exploring new cuisines, yoga and Frisbee golf. She speaks fluent Vietnamese and basic Spanish.
